actors The TNT (Texas Non-Profit Theatres) Board of Governors adopted a resolution recognizing the value of showcasing new plays and encouraging TNT member organizations to nuture playwriting talent at their own theatres. TNT Board Member Diana Weeks then created the Playwright in Residence Program, offering guidelines for incorporating a playwright into a producing theatre. The guidelines are very flexible, leaving room for every type of theatre to develop a program that works for them.
