Some times you want to help support activities at the school and theatre but time is a factor... well here  are two easy ways you
can help support UNICORN School of Acting and USA Theatre...

The first is to register at the courtesy booth at Randall's and list  # 2174, UNICORN School of Acting, as your    charity on Randall's Remarkable Card!   It's simple and easy to list with Randall's and then show that card for   your purchases and USA gets a  small donation.  You don't have to do anything but show your card with 2174 as your charity- it is all automatic .

The second way is using amazon.com to do your shopping and support UNICORN School of Acting!!    It is EASY go to our web site,  www.UnicornSchoolofActing.org and click on the amazon.com logo on the index page. That  will link you to amazon.com and anything you order by going though our link means a percentage comes back to  support our non-profit organization.

Amazon.com has books, electronics, toys, games, computer and video games, travel, tools, hardware, music,    health & beauty, CD's, DVD's, software, and much more. You can even shop TARGET through the Amazon.com link!!  We even have some books and videos marked for you if you want our recommendation.   http://www.ghg.net/unicorn/Reference_Materials/Index3.htm

Amazon.com will give a percentage of their proceeds to UNICORN School of Acting/USA Theatre.  Be sure to go through the link at  www.UnicornSchoolofActing.org ! It's easy and we thank you for your support.

And you know of course you can make a financial donation any time directly to the school and theatre , and it is  tax deductible.

History

The Unicorn School of Acting was founded in the Fall of 1988 to provide professional quality but affordable training in Stage, Film and Television. The Performing Center (USA Theatre) opened January 1996. We lost the lease on January 1, 2003 and are working in cooperation with Community Cup Center for the Arts at this time while we seek a new theatre home.

A nurturing place for actors to learn and experiment is our purpose! Also a place to educate and make performance opportunities available to the community. In our classes emphasis is placed on learning lifetime skills that are applicable to many jobs. For example:

  • Self-discipline
  • Self-confidence
  • High self- esteem
  • Better listening skills
  • The ability to work with others
  • The ability to follow directions
  • Positive Attitude

  •

    Instructors

We bring professional stage and screen personnel to the community to instruct with a positive attitude. Different instructors give students exposure to the same basics, but with different styles and methods.

    Philosophy

There are two worlds: the world that we measure with line and rule, and the world that we feel with our heart and imagination.

UNICORN School of Acting provide a key to feel with heart and imagination... to serve as a mind stretcher... and to provide a place where an individual and family can discover together new horizons and learn to use imagination to good effect.

    Why a UNICORN?

The UNICORN represents the young at heart... those with imagination...

The UNICORN was selected because of the images called to mind that suggest magic, fantasy, purity and good. The School and Theatre are “dedicated to those moments of enchantment found in a theatre, where magic is real and an individual's gentle memory of those moments become forever part of that person.
